Both for the Industrial Reducers and Wind-Turbine Speed Increasers, E.G.T. offers the following services:

- Design, manufacturing and validation of brand new equipments adjusted to the minimum customer’s inputs as required r.p.m., power + torque to be transmitted and interface dimensions.

- Manufacturing of gearboxes according to the approved customer’s drawings.

- Refurbishment of any gearbox up to 100 tons, including reverse engineering work in case the original drawings of the device or spare part are not available.

- Recovering by flanks grinding of geared shafts and wheels to be returned in perfect conditions.

- Spare part service for any component of the gear box up to the scope of dressing up the whole equipment prior to delivery. - In site repair jobs or quality inspections as Barkhausen grinding burns method, vibration analysis, predictive and corrective actions advice and maintenance guaranteed programs.

In case it is required an under load test before the shipment, EGT provides the resource of its testing bench sizing up to 1MW and adaptable to 2.5MW.

- Its “Tandem Back to Back” configuration is already qualified for the Wind-turbine V/G 4X, V/G 5X, ECO80, AE5X & AE61 platforms”
